Today I feel like sharing that…
In three years I have only seen one mini series (and another one I started) and two movies.
It’s not much, I know.
But one day I realized that I needed time to live my own life.
And I decided to spend less time watching other people’s fictional lives and focus on my own.
To get to know myself better, to get to know my family better, to meet new people, to undertake new projects, to devote myself to my profession, to watch my children play, to enjoy every kiss, every hug, to give my all in every email I write, every call I make, every session with a client I have…
And suddenly, when I sit down to watch a series now, I feel like I could be talking to a friend, jotting down thoughts, or simply having a sweet, slow kiss.
I will find balance, as watching movies is fascinating, just as fascinating as living our lives mindfully.
That’s why I encourage you to stop saying that you don’t have time.
There is plenty of time when you are aware of what you decide to invest it in.
How do you experience it?
I would love to read your reflection.
With this you help me to continue reflecting, and there is always time for that.
